IMBRADIVA e.V.
The association IMBRADIVA eV is a Brazilian women’s initiative that was founded by Brazilian women and German women. It has been registered as a non-profit association since 1998. IMBRADIVA eV offers guidance and support for Portuguese-speaking migrant women in the process of integration into German society. The association advocates non-violence between the sexes and the appreciation of female migrants. Furthermore, IMBRADIVA eV promotes the continuous exchange between migrants and locals, which is seen as the basis for permanent integration.
The basis is the voluntary work of volunteers who participate in various projects. The projects promote mutual understanding between peoples and raise awareness of how to deal with different customs and cultures. IMBRADIVA eV is based in Frankfurt am Main, but it also looks after female migrants nationally and internationally in cooperation with various European countries and Brazil.
