Vietnamese intercultural women’s initiative in Germany, Vifi eV
The Vietnamese intercultural women’s initiative in Germany eV, ViFi for short, was founded in early 1996 by Vietnamese women. Since it was founded, ViFi eV has made it its business to maintain equal opportunities for the Vietnamese women living here in their family and at work. In addition, not only social integration in Germany while maintaining the Vietnamese culture, but also support in Vietnam in the form of projects for Agent Orange victims or to fight poverty are important goals of the association.
For this reason ViFi eV also acts as a sending organization for weltwärts and is active in the pool of consultants for municipal development policy. ViFi is based in Bochum with the recognition of non-profit status.
