On Friday, December 17th, the CEDAW Alliance Germany invited members of all democratic factions in the Bundestag to a parliamentary breakfast. Under the motto “Realizing human rights for all – the UN Convention on the Rights of Women as an effective instrument,” options were discussed to integrate CEDAW more into the work of the Bundestag. The Bundestag and the parliaments of all federal states are obliged to promote the implementation of the Women's Rights Convention.
