Thinking gender and sustainability together: repairing instead of throwing away

Dear interested parties, dear participants,

DaMigra eV cordially invites you to the event as part of the "Gemeinsam MUTig" project and in cooperation with Café Kaputt "Thinking gender and sustainability together: repairing instead of throwing away” in Leipzig!

In addition to imparting knowledge, the workshop focuses on actively dealing with and reflecting on the topic of sustainability. After the intensive discussion about the many possibilities that every single woman has to contribute to environmental protection in her household, we will learn practical skills together that help to make sustainability a reality and to enable it in everyday life at home. Specifically, we work with drills, hammers and saws, build a small shelf together or repair an old table. Our motto is: Repair instead of throwing away, give your things a second life!

The event will be moderated and accompanied by the two speakers Yamina Saidi and Sonja Gräfing from the Café Kaputt team. Café Kaputt is a repair café and educational place that works for a society in which we repair instead of throw away and develop a fairer and ecological economic system together.

No prior knowledge is required. The event will take place in German.
