"I did it, you can too": Closing event of the workshop series "My way to self-employment"

Dear women, dear interested persons, dear volunteers,

DaMigra eV invites as part of the workshop series “My way to independence" Welcome to the final discussion round "I did it, you can do it too"!

The workshop series “My way to self-employment" is aimed at migrant and refugee women who want to get to know the basic requirements of entrepreneurial independence, familiarize themselves with the opportunities and risks of starting a business and acquire basic knowledge of corporate management.

Discussion on June 8th "I did it: you can too".

In this round of talks, Swetlana Geisler-Reiche - ex-member of the Federal Economic Senate East and a successful managing director - first talks about her own experiences on the way to self-employment in Germany. Afterwards we will discuss together about the opportunities and obstacles of self-employment that migrants have in Germany and share our ideas and dreams about future companies that each of us wants to start. Through an open and respectful exchange, not only can we feel inspired and empowered by others who have already had self-employment experiences, but each participant also has the opportunity to ask her questions, learn more about experiences from others and practical advice to get.
