Deutsch-Spanische Freundschaft e.V.
The German-Spanish Friendship eV is a non-profit association that has been promoting the integration of Spanish-speaking people with a migration background in Leipzig since 2000 and contributing to understanding between cultures. The objects of the association are the PUENTE project, an important contact point for newcomers from Spain and Latin America, the ATENEA project, which brings families together, and the STAMMTISCH “Tertulia”, which promotes contact between migrants and German citizens. 80% of the activities are carried out by women. In addition, the association particularly supports projects initiated by migrant women living in Leipzig and encourages them in their endeavors.
