"It's been burning for years": Dr. Delal Atmaca in an interview with the taz

After the announcement by the Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Lisa Paus, that she wanted to get refugee educators better into the job market, Dr. Delal Atmaca with Nicole Opitz (taz) in an interview about the cross-cutting issues of migration, gender and the labor market. As welcome as the recognition of foreign qualifications is, we emphasized that it leaves a bitter aftertaste when, under the guise of integration and systemic relevance, access is created that continues to cement stereotypical gender roles. While those affected are still falling over hurdles, we call for more concrete agreements and fields of action.
