Open day at DaMigra in Halle!

On the occasion of the Intercultural Weeks in Halle, we are opening our doors wide to everyone who has always wanted to know how empowerment works for, with and for women * with a refugee and migration background.

We present our project Mut-Makerinnen *:

  • Challenges and opportunities
  • Success and further development

It continues with "Salam Saxony-Anhalt" and speaker Nadia Abu Ammar about the integration of Muslim women * in Saxony-Anhalt. Tension between family pressure and discrimination in society.

14.00 p.m. - 16.00 p.m.

  • Continuation of the information round, exchange
  • Presentation of the “Salam Sachsen-Anhalt” project, Halle location.

We end the day with a workshop: Actively think and live inclusion! with Speaker Maria Ruppel, Supervisor, Dipl. Social Communication Science, MA Constitution and Human Rights

Workshop “Transcultural Society” - Actively thinking and living inclusion!

Contents: Transculturality describes the influence of cultures on one another. Thinking transculturally means that we no longer think in blocks or small groups, but think in network structures.

The participants * will experience in the workshop how:

- To use elements of understanding in communication

- analyze what hierarchies, power and exploitation are
