DaMigra's voice on 'Your Skilled Radio': about the labor market integration of women with a migration background

On February 20th, 'Your Skilled Radio' - the podcast from the Center for Skilled Workers and Good Work (ZEFAS) - published the latest episode. Our guest was our colleague Rudaba Badakhshi, who works as the OST regional coordinator in our “GemeinMUTig” project. The podcast regularly provides information about current topics related to securing skilled workers and good work and invites actors who are active in these subject areas across Saxony.

In the latest episode, Rudaba Badakhshi talks to Lars Zwirnmann about the special challenges that make it difficult for migrant and refugee women to participate in the job market. A big hurdle is that women don't feel seen by the various institutions. Because the system is often not familiar with their multiple burdens, women become disoriented. Therefore, one of the first challenges is that these multiple discriminations of those affected are seen and identified so that they can subsequently be remedied, says Rudaba Badakhshi.

The entire interview is here to listen.
