At the start of the new DaMigra project "Gemeinsam MUTig" (project period 2023-2024), the entire team of the Düsseldorf office cordially invites you to our open day.

On this day, among other things, the possibility of working with DaMigra at the Düsseldorf location will be presented: In the context of the current project, the encounters of women from the dominant society with refugee and migrant women play a decisive role. These are intended to sensitize women in the dominant society to the concerns of migrant and refugee women, as well as to get the latter out of their social isolation and create access to other social groups. For this purpose, DaMigra is looking for committed women from the dominant society who are critical of power and who are interested in volunteering in the Düsseldorf location. In addition to the support of volunteers by the DaMigra employees on site, this format offers participation in relevant events and the assumption of social responsibility in a post-migrant society. The volunteers of this new target group would become part of the already existing group of volunteer women with refugee or migration experience. The commitment provided by volunteers is an important pillar of DaMigra's work.

The employees of the location look forward to welcoming active volunteers as well as new interested parties to the Düsseldorf office. Cooperation partners and members of the DaMigra partner organizations are also cordially invited to shape this space of open exchange with us.

The travel costs for the journey will be covered by DaMigra. Please do not forget to submit your original tickets. Travel costs can be covered for buses, regional and S-Bahn trains, but not for ICs and ICEs.
