Film evening: Black and German - The history of the Afro-Germans

Dear women,

we hereby invite you to a women raises.ed movie night on. Together we would like to gain an insight into the topic of History of Afro-Germans give. In the documentary "Black and German - The History of the Afro-Germans" women and men from four generations tell their moving stories. The protagonists keep talking about experiences with racism, how it affected them and how they deal with it.

We want to discuss together how we recognize and name these forms of discrimination and what helps us/you to counter empowered racism. We also want to ask ourselves what plural identities have to do with us.

The event is free of charge and takes place in German in simple language. It will save Provide translation in Persian and Arabic.

women raises.ed  is an anti-racism project launched by DaMigra, which is aimed at women and girls who experience racism, sexism and multiple discrimination. We support the recognition of racism & sexism, encourage self-empowerment and empower for a collective fight against discrimination!
